Cregg---When I took the flywheel from my engine to a balancing shop they said that only four pounds could safely be cut from the flywheel. This was from the outer diameter where, of course, it does the most good. I don't know what the flywheel and ring gear combo weighs, but I know it feels like more than 18 lb. when wrestling this into position while lying on my back! What are your goals for this engine?
