Not yet <g> What it does have is a bad center bearing (between the input
shaft and the mainshaft). Fortunately the car came with a spare gearbox,
which I'm hoping is in good shape.

There is a strong family resemblance in the transmissions, but definite
differences as well. The input shaft is different (about 2" longer) and I
think the gear ratios may be different. As best I can tell at the moment,
the mainshaft required to convert to OD is different as well ...
