I've finished week one with my 74 TR6 and have been tweaking little things
such as the washer fluid motor, new headlight master switch, seat belts,
headlamps and - how to fold a TR6 top.:)
But next on my list are a pair of new seats. I was originally going to order
a kit from Moss or Victoria but a couple of auto upholstery places here have
really good prices for modern seats - high density foam and one-piece
headrest. (Actually, looking very much like a pair of seats from a Honda Del
Sol.)
Since I don't have any immediate plans (nor budget) for a "perfect"
restoration, I was wondering if anyone else has had experiences installing
non-standard seats. Is this a major no-no in TR circles or to each their
own or are new but standard TR6 seats good driving seats?
