Chris, I didn't know you were using that. I have an HVLP gun you are
welcome to use. Might make the final coat a little easier to finish.

Let me know if you want to try it. I'd like to see your results.

Larry

I'm with Dean-

My Sprite will never be smooth and flawless, but the Rustoleum solution is
working for me.

As soon as the weather dries out for a while I'll be putting on the final
coat. Yes, the sponge brush paint job posted online works. No, I won't be
showing it.

Chris

What are you people talking about?

Four quarts of Rustoleum "Antique White" only cost about $50.
That, and the HLVP gun I picked up at BigLots for $25.

You might laugh. But I'm pleased with the results.

If I was to do it over again I probably would have gone with
Duplicolors DIY solution - with the clearcoat. I understand
that it is very forgiving,

But then I would not have achieved the proper oil alkyd, Old English White
color:)
Suggested annual donation $12.75
