In WA, open carry is permitted. We have an sort of semi-annual picnic in the
city park (BYOBBQ) where folks get to openly carry their chosen weapon.
Permit required for concealed carry. WA is a "shall issue" state if you are
over 21 and not a felon.
Carry not permitted on Federal property, schools and in parks owned by the
Corps of Engineers. There are a few other exceptions.

In NV, the weapon may be concealed within the vehicle without having a CCW
permit. In Clark County, it is recommended to carry a copy of the statute, as
the local constabulary choose not to honor state law in this regard. I keep
mine in the space beside the driver's seat when it is not concealed upon my
person. A friend has a holster attached to his driver's door. Without the
permit, open carry upon your person is legal.

This poses an interesting question for you legal beagles out there....
IN many states, it is legal to carry a loaded firearm as long as it
is not concealed. Would riding a motorcycle with a .45 on your hip
be considered "not concealed"?
@Mike, We currently have a nice commemorative Ruger Special
Edition if you are interested.... I'll send you a link off the list.
Cheers!!
