<< This poses an interesting question for you legal beagles out there... >>
Actually, that is something being "tested", JJ.
<< IN many states, it is legal to carry a loaded firearm as long as it
is not concealed. >>
Just in the past few months, I was reading about "events" being held [ being
sponsored I suppose by NRA ?!? ] that is for folks walking in their
'downtowns', parks, Cafes [ Starbucks being mentioned ], and other very
'public' places whilst being "strapped" [loaded & unloaded]. It is being done
in States that do NOT have "concealed carry" laws but general Firearms Laws
[sorta ? <G>] allow the "Open Carry". They are either "left alone", checked
for "Legal Weapon Ownership", checked for "General I.D.", or ignored.
<< Would riding a motorcycle with a .45 on your hip be considered "not
concealed"? >>
By the foregoing, it WOULD be 'legal' <G> !!! [Colt Peacemaker ?? <G>]
I think I read the 'feeder' on The Healeys List and there was a newspaper
[ WSJ ???] link which explained in detail.
"Train Driver Mike" or "Two-way Radio Mark", do youse recall ??
