9mm + Hydrashocks = dead perp. No need for the third shot. The nice thing about
the Hydras is the fact that they do all their damage inside the target's body,
not through him and into the neighbor's kitchen. You explain to the
investigating officer that you use them to avoid collateral damage. You are
just being a responsible homeowner. I still doubt that Kirby & Moose, backed up
by Bonnie & Fionna, would leave much for me to need to shoot at, other than to
put him out of his misery, but that's unlawful. He'd just have to lay there and
bleed until someone comes to drag him off.

Random thoughts as I don't want to miss out on a good gun thread and we're a
little light on cat and Zappa threads lately:

Open carry = criminal speak for shoot the guys with the guns first.

9mm for self defense - They developed the Mozambique drill (double tap the
torso followed by one to the head) as a result of the 9mm not having enough
stopping power after the double tap to the torso. I'm not a good enough shot
to wait for the third one. Give me a .40 or .45 and I can stop after the
double tap.

AKs in Viet Nam - Anyone hear of US forces throwing down AK clips wired with
C4 to be picked up by VC hoping they'd blow themselves up?

Now and again, there is an "Open Carry" BBQ held in my local park.
Its a BYOBBQ sort of thing but you openly wear your weapon of choice on yojur
belt.
Just to remind the local population that this is an open carry state, the
weapon can be loaded!
One of the local TV stations usually makes it a news item.

If you don't exercise a 'right' you may lose it!

It's also a "Right to Carry" state. I have my CCW permit as do most of my
boys.
Very few problems in our town ;^)

I wonder what the open carry laws are like around the rest of the country?
It is legal to open carry in California as long as your gun is not loaded,
and your loaded clip is on the other side of your belt.
