That is true but accurately reproducing what Hollywood puts out will sometimes sound bad because there are a lot of poorly mixed and produced soundtracks. Explosions and sound effects are easy to make sound good. Warm, real dialog is tougher. The way movies are made the sound editors have a tough job balancing dialog, effects, and music, making them all sound real and synergistic yet unobtrusive. |
