I'm surprised more of us don't admit to this problem. I've taken a pine
board and attached a plastic bucket seat (bar stool) from the 1960's-1970's.
The whole thing is held in place by the seat belt around me. ...bill in

Subject: [Spridgets] Seats
Has anybody on the list moved their driver seat back a couple of inches past
the rear bulkhead in order to get further away from the steering wheel
whilst driving>
I have been tempted to either play with the bulkhead behind the seat (cut
and weld) or do something to the back of the seat so that I can set the
rails a bit further back.
At 6' my leg room is still good as is. I just do not like being so close to
the steering wheel.
My car is a nice daily driver. . not worried about keeping it at show room
stock level.
