Yes, but why would you go anywhere without belting in?
In many areas older cars and pickup trucks aren't required to have seat belts.
But, part of the pioneering spirit of MG/AH was the safety aspect.
People thought the seatbelts in early Mustangs were bad at the time
but now it is commonly accepted that seat belts do save lives.
