Technically, I suppose it depends upon if the car is Neg or Pos ground. It is a simple rheostat. Therefore changing the direction the current flows through it will reverse the operation of the rheostat. Now that I've muddied the water, I have no idea if the greater resistance is full or empty! Put an Ohm meter across it and you'll know. |
