A couple of years ago when I was roofing my house I went out to the local
Home Defect to buy a box of roofing nails when I ran out. They were changing
over from Sterling (made in Sterling, Il.) to some brand I'd never heard of.
They had one of those roll around carts full of Sterling nails. I got 100
lbs of roofing nails, 100 lbs of 16d cc, and 100 lbs of 8d cc for $20! I
wish I had bought the whole cart now. That's how I got all my Ingersoll Rand
air tools, too. Right place, right time. BTW, all their 1 X lumber comes
from Sweden. Dry as a popcorn f---, explodes if you don't pre-drill for a
screw, forget about nailing it.
