I don't remember the clearances now, since it has been quite a while since 
the rebuild, but I did switch blocks and took the old, cleaned pistons 
complete with assembled rings to the machinist with the replacement block.  
The pistons were +.30, so the machine shop bored the block accordingly--kind 
of like getting fitted for a custom-tailored suit.
