If you don't stop to gab, drink beers, look for tools, how can it take
1/2 a day?
It takes longer for the radiator to drain then it does to undo all the
bolts. (I undo bolts while the radiator is draining, this does cut the
time in half ;)

Lets see, 66 Sprite has 4 radiator bolts
2 rad hoses and 2 heater hoses, and 1 fuel hose, 5 hose clamps total.
4 wires on the engine (2 genny, 1 dizzy, 1 oil filter)
3 motor mount bolts, 2 mount nuts
4 tranny mount bolts, 2 slave bolts and a slave pin.
4 shifter cover screws, 3 shifter bolts
1 temp sensor, 1 oil hose, 1 speedo cabel, 1 choke cable (and I keep the
accell cable attached, I just pop it off the gas pedal linkage)
8 bonnet bolts and 2 exhaust bolts w/nuts

So 23 bolts, 4 nuts, 4 screws (10 screws with the grille), 5 hose
clamps, 1 pipe, 1 temp sensor, 3 cables.
That should only take an hour, now add a few minutes to pull it out, and
it's done in just over an hour.
But add 6 beers, lost tools, people BS-ing with you, going by the book,
and other unrelated intrusions, and it may take 1/2 a day.

When I'm in a hurry, I pull them out, change trannys or complete clutch
and drive it out of the garage in just under 2 hours. But only if I have
to be somewhere in a hurry. ;)
