Me too!  Whenever the GPS systems are in place, I am sure there will be a run 
of tech articles telling us how to disconnect the transmitters.  I will 
certainly want to read them.  And I was wondering:   Are the photo shots of 
license plates taken from above?  Is there a "shuttered" license plate cover 
that allows clear reading from directly behind but disallows viewing from 
above?  Sort of like a venetian blind effect?  Just a thought.
It isnt that I really do anything against the law--I DO travel consistently 
at 55-60  whether on straights or curves with speed signs, but I hate the 
idea that some goon is monitering me constantly.  And further, that I am 
PAYING for him/her/it (in case of vegetable) to monitor me constantly.  I 
refuse to carry a beeper for the same reason.  Sometimes I don't WANT to be 
found.
I would attempt to disable the system.
