Unless you have a seriously tuned engine in your car you are not going to see 
any real jump in power with the 45.  Serious means big valve and ported head 
with a cam at least Kent 276 or eq' and upwards of 80 bhp going on a 100bhp.

However, the 45 is a very functional carb and with TWM or ITG full radius 
rams (which all to few folk use, even racers) WILL have a decent bottom end 
pull.  The 45 looks like a performance carb which of course it is and once 
fitted can 'grow' (by virtue of main venturi changes) with other engine mods.

The 45 can produce a lot of induction noise which is more noticeable to the 
driver/passenger than other road users - this may be a plus or minus point 
according to your view point.
