After some good discussions a while back with Pete S., I think the best way to
go is with a vented cap. You will still have a vacuum when there is good
manifold vacuum, and you'll have a vent path, albeit small, at low vacuum
conditions. On my still-leak-free(!) Bugeye, I have the PCV routed from the
timing cover with a filter on the little stub that comes off the rocker cover
on the 1275, and the cap is sealed. FWIW, the NAPA valve previously mentioned
provided a bit too much flow, and I had to crimp the line down.
