Mine did that earlier this year. Freak 103 degree day in early April. Car
stopped dead. Added new cool gasoline and started right up. Replaced the pump
the next weekend...

100-degree heat shows this right up!!

Hello, This is my first post to the group. My 93 SHO
MTX generally runs very well. However the 4-5 times
per year the temperature exceeds 95 degrees the SHO
will stall and then it will have to cool 15-20 minutes
before it will restart. Then when
it gets hot again it will stall again.

I ran the codes and they were: 172, 176, 556, 557,
542.

Has anyone experienced this type of problem that only
happens in extreme heat? Any input you could pass on
would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Mike
