At the risk of incurring Fred's nasty wrath, I must
agree with Ed Driver.

Colin's Super Club is a fine idea especially if you
look at it from an overview rather than detailing
 advantages and problems.

In essence, Colin is suggesting that we cooperate more
and centralize our energies using the internet as the
glue...functioning as an ongoing club meeting and
conduit. In this way a combined "club" can make the
most of our spread apart but still alive enthusiasm
 and offer more benefits.

With this in mind, it is not necessary to "federate"
all clubs here in all ways all at once. Two clubs
together are better than one, three better still and
finally we'll get the holdouts "next year". The
 goodwill will accrue immediately.

I don't think this process needs too much..it has
already well begun with this Mail List, John Blair's
site, Tony's Morgan Registry, and the club sites. We
just have to keep the momentum centralized and channeled.

On "Morgan regionalism"...well..just how regional are
we on the internet? I have an affinity with people I
communicate with often and I have never been able to
discern the national, state, provincial, linguistic
and cultural differences between a 64 4/4 from
California or a 64 4/4 from Nova Scotia. That takes an
expert with myopia or a club president who considers
he holds precious "reins of power".
