Gemmer steering box oil

Hello to all you Morgan folks,

I have a question which may or may  not be important but I felt it prudent
to ask considering my investment in this unit.  I have a Gemmer steering
box which was purchased from the Factory.
The box came without oil, so I am opened to suggestions concerning which
lubercant works best in a gemmer box.  Your input would be much
appreciated.
