        I have a 1974 B and would like to have it perform like a '62 - '67
car (the only hindrance would be my stock 8:1 compression). Does anyone
know what specs to use (for centrifugal & vacuum advance) for ignition
timing to produce the best power curve ? Not best peak power but widest
power band. Also, do I need to have ported vacuum for the vacuum advance or
is manifold vacuum acceptable ??
My car is stock. Stock HIF carbs & stock distributor. Engine is
rebuilt with about 3000 miles on it.
I'm trying to make a decision whether to keep the HIF carbs or
switch to HS4s (HS4s for the ported vacuum advance source).

Thanks In Advance, Skip
