Why do you think you need a lead additive? Real world experience seems to indicate that under normal street conditions these engines get by perfectly OK on unleaded fuel. IME the additives are (1) a hassle; (2) expensive; (3) unnecessary (I won't get into the argument as to whether they are environmentally acceptable). I came to this conclusion after going through the process with a fresh rebuild of a much more high-output motor than a B-series. But I suppose YMMV... on 4/14/03 7:12 PM, Mike Razor at mrazor@mis.net wrote: > Need a suggestion and/or location to obtain a lead additive for my two > MGs. > Mike > -- Max Heim '66 MGB GHN3L76149 If you're near Mountain View, CA, it's the primer red one with chrome wires /// or try http://www.team.net/cgi-bin/majorcool /// Archives at http://www.team.net/archive |
