Lew and Terry,

I do not think any PB or N type's were fitted with micro adjusters when they left the factory.

I also do not think the original clamps were fixed with countersunk bolts. None of the clamps I have have a countersunk hole, I think they were fixed with ordinary hex headed bolts.

Regards,

Peter.

Is it possible that the late PBs used the micro-adjuster? What about an
N-type?

TATerry, you have both a TA and an NA, what is your take on all of this?

Lew, My TA did not have its original engine so no help there. My NA has its
original dizzy but no micro-adjuster...just the clamp with one hold down
countersunk bolt to hold it in place. Our SA has one which should be similar to
the TA. It is like what you call a TC. I don't seem to have any other
reference photo's showing a microadjuster on an N type.

It looks to me like what you have labeled as TA would only work on a MMM
engine as it has the countersunk hole that would line up with the hold in the
block adaptor...as in your PA/B.

Cheers
Terry
