Well, how nice to hear some more discussion. Of course, I have a different
view on bushings & thought someone might possibly be interested.
If you are not going to stick to original, try a modern bushing. I have used
an oil impregnated "poly" style bushing for more than 50,000 miles in my road
car. It really is excellent. Available in most auto shops and easy to
machine.
