First and foremost... if you want to go back in time... when things were
simple and life was easier... a trip to Lake Gairdner is an absolute MUST....
I have lived in several countries throughout the world... this is the first
one that I've even considered "Like" the US... I could live there with No
Problem at all.... every person I met was nice... easy to get along with and
supportive.
Racing there is a true throw back to simpler times... The folks don't pitch
money at things... they use their god given skills and talents to make things
happen.... I met two folks who cast pistons for their own stuff.... bike guys
... but racers all the same...
The skills and talents of these guys ranks right up there with our guys...
only they don't have instant access to things like we do so they make
stuff.... often it looks like it... but who cares it works.... "No Worries" as
they would say... or No Drama... Every once in a while I'd stumble into a
pit that had stuff that any of us would be proud to own.... Extremely nice
execution and workmanship weren't common place... but it was there....
OH and someone forgot to mention that 4 doors weren't race cars... these guys
are ate up with them.... virtually half the cars had toooo many doors.... but
they were still very cool.
