Bill;

Geez, talk about scary stuff, hydrogen peroxide (not the 3% stuff you buy in
Walgreens) is a powerful oxidizer and high percentage hydrogen peroxide will
violently react with virtually any organic compound and that includes human
skin & tissue.

Ninety percent or better was used in the world's first rocket-powered
fighter, the Messerschmidt Me-163 Komet, in torpedo motors and for advanced
WWII German subs. The stuff was a nightmare to handle and ground crews had
to wear heavy rubber suits for protection when refueling or transfering fuel
from tankers. In diluted form, hydrogen peroxide is used for mouthwash but
it is BAD (DEADLY) STUFF in concentrated form.

I recently noticed some of the guys at work collecting small samples of
hydrogen peroxide from a drum in our waste water treatment plant. These guys
regularly race go karts and I was very curious as to why they wanted it!!
Well seems they add it to the oil (there is a word for this if they get
caught). Once the oil gets hot enough the reaction is very noticable! Thing
is they have to change oil every heat race or it eats up the case.
