collision of my perfectly running 2012 Honda Accord Coupe.=C2=A0 I bought a=
Mazda 3 Hatchback Premium edition because it was one of the few cars you c=

market today are CVT transmissions (no soul) except for high end performanc=

was you couldn't get a manual transmission in Fords trucks with V8 engines =

missions serve well as Millennal anti theft devices better than any expensi=

I grew up in Massachusetts and when I was getting my driver's license in 19=
66 the law had just changed to allow drivers who got their license on an au=
tomatic to drive a manual. Before that unless you took your driver's test o=
n a manual, you couldn't drive one. In 1967, I bought my cousin's bugeye (f=
rogeye) and she gave me about a half-hour manual driving lesson. Fortunatel=
y, I lived in the country and lots of back roads amongst the cranberry bogs=
to practice my skills.

I learned on=C2=A0 a stick. Then spent 30 years on a slush box (as we calle=
d automatic transmissions in my day) then bought my Healey. Started it up a=
nd cruised with no problems. Obviously knowledge of how to shift manually r=
eturned in an instant. Moral is, better to learn how to drive with a manual=
transmission. You never forget.
