Keep in mind that the question was a GT6 question,=20
The top 3 GT6=E2=80=99s at the Kastner Cup were all running welded Different=
ials.=20
I have run both a limited slip and welded in more than one GT6 racecar.=20
To me there is no comparison.
Welded wins.
You have to be a very deliberate and a careful downshifter for certain.=20
But, All the power you need is ALWAYS there.
Without exaggerating....The fastest times ever turned by A GT6 at Road Ameri=
ca Were recorded this past weekend during the Kastner cup.=20
The welded Diff is the fastest setup for a GT6, period.=20
With a minimum of an additional $600 fee For the limited slip, I see no reas=
on to switch unless maybe it might last longer and you would like to go slow=
er.
If you are a good driver, The winning answer seems to point toward welded.
