Jerry;
We run a narrow belt on both cars. In both cases the damper puller housing e=
xtends into the timing cover to mate up against the slinger washers. No prob=
lem using the stock oil seal. We have had some leakage out between the crank=
shaft spigot and the pulley. Perhaps via the Keway. and the fit between the p=
ulley and spigot is a little worn, so we assemble it with some rtv. No leaks=
.
I wonder if you have eliminated the slinger washers, and if the joint betwee=
n the spacer and damper coincides with the lip seal interface.=20
