I just found that by removing the Thermostat housing and thermostat, you can reach the end of the sensor inside the head and push it out (punch?) with a long screwdriver or punch. Of course this is a last resort and should be preceded with a liberal amount of penetrating lube. My sensor was already destroyed and it was the only alternative I had to drilling it out. And I pretty much beat the hell out of the end that was accessible. BUT, it is out with no damage to the head. Cheers Daryl |
