I went the Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 with Cummins Turbo Diesel engine. one friend
calls it my truck that handles like a sports car. I've had to avoid a deer
at speed at night while towing a roadster on a trailer. a real radical
maneuver, but other than losing a stalk type running light off the driver
side of the trailer came out unscathed. deer crossed from right side of the
road. no other truck I have ever owned could have done what I did with the
Dodge. it's a club cab with 8' box, so maybe the long wheelbase makes for
more stability. sits up pretty high, though.
