Hey Rockers!
It's time to get out and enjoy the "harsh" winter here in Southern
California! It's time to go on a run!
The run I have in mind will take us from Irvine, up through Orange and then
inland through the Santiago Canyon. We will pass by Lake Irvine and follow
the road to Cook's Corner where we take a hard left and drive a short but
very twisty road to one of two final destinations.
I have picked either February 9th or February 10th as possible dates for the
run. Let me know which date works better for you. The majority will win in
this case. Also, there are two possible destinations for the run. One is
O'Neil park. It's a very large park with camping and day visit sites. Plenty
of place to barbecue and to hang out. Very rustic and pretty. We could end
the run with a barbecue and meet. The only drawback: 4 dollars to get into
the park. Dogs are a 1.00 extra.
The other option is a mexican restaurant just a little further down the
road. Good food, large outdoor eating area, good bar too. Plenty of room for
us if we decide to go there.
So please let me know what suits you better and on what date. I am looking
forward to running with some of my old roadster buds and am looking forward
to seeing some new faces and new cars.
