Is it a long way to the body shop or could you not just use a pull type tow
truck or one that has a flat deck? Larry.

All,

I am taking the body off of the frame this weekend. Les Cannaday has offered

me the use of a rolling frame so I can put the body on it and take it to the

body shop.

I have access to my Dad's 97 Chevy S-10. It's a V-6 with plenty of power to
pull an empty body shell sitting on a rolling frame.

So today I call U-Haul and inquire about renting a ball hitch and tow dolly.

U-Haul won't rent me the hitch. Says they will be happy to sell me one for
120.00 and if I want it installed they will give me a "package deal" for
150.00

They also are reticent to rent me the tow dolly as they like to have those
around for one-way moves with reservations.

Am I missing something here? I can't be the only person wanting to rent a
ball hitch and a tow dolly. I guess I am going to have to go and buy one and

install it and hope there is a tow dolly that they will let me have.

Sheesh.
