Hmmnnn been here:done this! for me it was a lack of a good engine to
chassis and body to chassis ground cable/strap. My brake hardline to the m/c
was tooo hot to hold onto. Seems the alternator current needs to run
somewhere. Does'nt care if that much current boils the fluid in the line.
Applies nice even pressure to all the brakes. Oh made the brake pedal high
and hard also. Has a similar effect on the clutch also. usually has more
"space" (slack) to take up.

List:

My brother took his 1969 Datsun out on its first trip.
This car sat for many years and he had a brake problem
where the brakes seized up. Should he get new pistons
for his front brake calipers? Here's his note.

David Wilson

"took the datsun on it's maiden voyage.....now that it
is almost all together.......of course the brakes
seized up while on kelly drive and i was barely able
to get her into a parking lot......called for a
tow.....but they never showed......waited almost an
hour ....but the car freed itself up....what's with
that....drove home and by the time i was pulling in
the garage.....it started to do it again, is that from
the heat of the brakes.....swelling and seizing up? I
called you over and over again....no one picked
up...not even the machine....thanks brother.... call
me tomorrow later mike"
