 If the machine shop is doing the balancing, they will need the balancer, a
very critical piece of the rotating assembly, balance-wise.  With my recent
rebuild and balance job, my balancer was found to be way out of balance.  This
applies especially if the rotating parts are component balanced (as opposed to
assembly balanced), which I prefer, since future component replacement
requires that only the new part be balanced to keep the whole assembly
balanced.
