| The car is going to the auto electrician but I thought I would ask the list
if anyone has had a similar experience.
Last night the car refused to turn over when I was trying to start it. All
indicators were that there is current going to all the right places but when
it came to starting - no go. Everything else worked including lights,
heater fan, map light, wipers etc (I tried the lot). After turning
everything on and off, and checking every electrical connection I could find
under bonnet I tried again and the car roared to life as if nothing was
wrong. My guess is that it is either the ignition which was playing up, a
loose connection which I fixed when I checked them all, or a short circuit
that is about to get worse. The problem has not re-occurred yet. Any ideas
anyone?
