That's an accurate description of it.  If the open
side of the box is around 120' long or larger, with
the single cone in the middle, it'll be fun (Sunday's
slalom would've had about a 132' box, had there been
one...  As the open side shrinks, it becomes less and
less fun, just as slaloms become less fun as you make
them tighter.
