I double/triple checked on all the signup sheets and if I found someone
had worked and was checked off, no matter which group s/he ran in, I counted
it as working. A lot of my time expended. Part of the problem is the signup
sheets didn't have the working classes listed at the top of each page, which
could have led to some confusion.
However, the biggest problem was the names of those who did not sign up
at all, nowhere, nohow! Hey, listen folks, I check for that, too. Yes, I'm
an old meanie, but someone else is working for you; you need to work for
them. Fair is fair. Some may have the feeling, 'well, with 300 entries, the
club won't miss me.' Shirkers are not welcome.
