I'm gonna throw my 1/50th of a dollar in and say that the high-buck shocks
should be allowed in SP (don't ask me about Stock; I have no intention to go
back unless I find a good deal on a '91-'93 MR2).

The reason? Springs are totally open in SP. I've been looking at various
options for my car and have found out that if I run the springs I'm
considering, an out-of-the-box Koni Sport shock won't be able to damp it
adequately. At the very least I'd have to have my existing shocks revalved
to work with the springs I want, which might not be much cheaper than just
getting Koni 2812's or Penske DA's to begin with.

Besides, the SEB is only concerned with Stock shock rules right now. Let's
just straighten out one issue at a time, 'k?

Scot - who may regret sticking his nose into this one...
