Yes, you are correct, most were 544's (minus 10 years on the dates you 
gave). I had a 1958 444, 1.6 liter, 85 bhp, twin SU carbs, 4 speed. Black 
with red leather, two piece windshield.  Also had shoulder harness 
attachments, a first I believe.
