ok kevin, ill take you through a sample corner in my car...

1. try to see the corner entrance over the shaking under WOT.
2. lift foot off gas, being careful to pull it slightly to the right to miss
the back of the brake pedal.
3. tighten grip on steering wheel.
4. pull leg up so the knee is close to the chest, then lower leg at the
correct angle to miss the steering wheel, the lip of the foot box, and
contact the far right edge of the brake pedal.
5. depress pedal. if you missed the pedal, go back to step 4 and repeat as
needed.
6. press pedal firmly as there are only manual brakes.
7. tighten grip on wheel in preparation for turning. shift weight if
needed.
8. trail brake a little, then start to turn in.
9. turn back a little as the steering starts to work.
10. shift weight and get a new grip on the wheel.
11. turn the car in a little more and find the gas pedal.
12. depress gas pedal very gingerly.
13. tighten grip on wheel to hold yourself in the 1960's seat.
14. more gas, counter steer 5 or 6 times as the rubber bushings and $27
shocks try to decide what to do.
15. tighten buttocks for extra cushioning over mid-corner bump.
16. saw the wheel back and forth to encourage the car onto more of a
straight path, more gas.
17. pull yourself back into position for the straight
18. grit teeth to prevent biting your tongue.
19. DONE with turn 1.

next week, SLALOMS!

any questions? =)
