I used to road race (USCF). We would travel up to 200 hundred miles and race
in 90-100*F weather for about 1-2.5 hours. Some races, the prizes were
wheels, seats, water bottles, jerseys etc. One race the first place prize for
each category was a watermelon. Second place was a cantaloupe, and third was
an orange.
