greetings to all from us in Australia

This is my first posting to this list but I have been corresponding with
the larger "triumphs" list for quite a while.

By way of introduction, Cindy (my wife) & I have both benn into triumphs
for over 25years. Cindy worked for Leyland Australia in its heyday,
whislt I worked part-time for the local dealer whilst I studied
enginnering at Uni.

We have lost count of Triumphs owned but the current fleet comprises;
Mk1 PI racer, Mk1 GT6 racer, Mk2 PI estate (see below), 34 Gloria, 38
Dolomite, 78 2500S, 68 TR5.

We have run several triumph related business over the years and still
supply specialist parts to a wide cross-section of owners in Australia
and overseas.

We are about to commence restoration of an ex new Zealand (UK-Sth
Africa-New Zealand-Aust) 2.5PI estate. We are chasing some
shadow-blue estate trim, especially rear seat, door trims, rear
compartment trims and boot carpet . Ideally the trims will be new but
mint used will be OK. Even some mint grey ones would also be OK and we
can colour spray them. We got some new vinyl from Newtons in the UK and
it is so poor a colour match as to be unuseable. We matched it against
some brand new front seats we have for this car.

Even if you dont have thses parts, please give us any references to who
might. What happened to all the new trim floating around the UK a few
years ago??????

We will be in the UK & Eire in June/July so freight from UK is no
hassle.

Finally, if there is anyone out there racing a Triumph sedan, pls give a
a call. our PI is highly developed but always open to trade noted.
regards to all

Terry O'Beirne
