- Two of my cars have steel-lined Aluminum brake drums. Does anybody know if it is possible/reasonable to have them re-lined, or are they hopeless? Once a drum gets turned to the max, or so egg-shaped

- Machining away on a drum of the correct ID probably would be the way this could be done. The pegs I referred to aren't radial. They stick out the face of the drum against the wheel, not the circmfer

- Oops. So, are you saying that they can't be rebuilt, but they can be remanufactured? I tend to think NOS parts, or good used ones shipped from Europe would be cheaper than that. It'll just take more
