Well folks, the GT6 failed emmissions again here in Colorado. What would make it passable (under 1000 hydrocarbons) at 2500 rpms, and fail at idle (923ish rpms)? I changed the spark plugs, and oil, a

Jane, It sounds like the carbs are set too rich at idle. When you push in on it the engine uses the extra fuel and thus has less hydrocarbons coming through the exhaust. At least, hope that is the ca

High hydrocarbons and low CO are due to a lean mixture and not a rich one. I know that because I got my TR6 through by pulling out the choke a tad.Co went up, HC came down
