I think what is needed here is a method to remove the OUTER metal sleeve. These bushings have an inner and outer sleeve. --

Failing that, buy a new spring, Don't bother with a MK IV or 1500 spring as these do not have enough leaves to do any lasting damage. Best results are still to be had with an older 'fixed' spring. Si
