I was out back pulling the dash out of my 72 GT6, two thirds of it came out with no problem. The left hand section is where the difficulty arose, I can't get it loose. Plus, on this same section is

Have you disconnected the speedo and tach? The wiper knob does not screw in, as you said, but I recall there's a hole somewhere into which you can use a sharp object to release the knob. If you have

It's not a pin that passes through..it's a sprung clip thingie...press it in and pull the knob off. Yes, it helps to hold the wooden dash onto the underlying metal frame. ken shapiro baltimore 1970 G

Hi Michael This pin has a spring on the back and pushes in about a 1/16" then pull the knob off, I used the end of a window winder coil spring straightened out to push with but then I have a box with
