- I checked my spare last night and it has 185-15X on the inside tire wall. I didn't flip it over to check the "visible" tire wall, I am fairly certain it too will say X. My spare is one of the origian

- It is my understanding that the proper OEM tire size for TR6 is not 185/70R15, but rather 185/15... no aspect ratio for this size. Otherwise, I could calculate the rolling circumference of the tires

- So, the folks ask for the rolling circumference on a set of Michelin Redlines. No problem, I have five of them in the storage shed, still mounted on the wire wheels, I'll just go measure them for him

- Pete, If I am not mistaken, the aspect ratio is 83% if it is not other wise state in the tire size. i.e. a 185/15 tire should have a side wall height of 153.55 mm. Of course it has been more than a f

- Pete, You will see that the difference between stock 185/15 tires and 185/70r15s is approx. 24mm, or about 1 inch lower. Larry Zink

- *usually* if a tire has no apect ratio assigned, it is what as known as a 85 series tire - i.e the Michein Redline 185-15 would be a 185/85-15. (which it is). Hope this helps. -steve sutton 74 TR-6
