Instead of the battery, hook up a 2amp charger to the system. This will give you enough power to check the smaller lights and other items. Of course you can't start it and the horns will just burp. A

The trick I used when I checked out the TR3 is I connected each circuit to the battery via a spare headlamp. If it is a short to ground the bulb will shine with full brightness. If it is working prop
