That was for bias ply tires in the late 60's. Ron's right (imho), look at the tire and adjust the pressure accordingly. And Tire Rack is probably close to being right for modern radial tires. @ 35 ps

I tried what Will suggested years ago, and the throttle cable bracket didn't line up with the throttle; it was off towards the center of the engine by about an inch with the pin in the throttle cable
